Keto KFC | Keto Fast Food Options!

The ketogenic diet is a low carb, high fat diet that has become increasingly popular as a way to lose weight quickly. While there are some keto fast food options, typically these foods aren’t well-designed for a keto dieter, and are packed with gluten and other unhealthy ingredients. We’ve put together a list of the best keto fast food options that you can get at your local fast food chains, so you can go ahead and start kicking that unhealthy snacking habit!

We all know that fried chicken is a poor choice when it comes to healthy eating. Not only does it start the day with a hefty dose of fat, but it is also loaded with unhealthy oils and white flour. What’s more, it doesn’t have to be this way. There are a myriad of fast food items on the market today that are designed for people wanting to consume an adequate amount of fat while still eating a healthy meal. And some of them, even, can be prepared in less than a minute.

Keto KFC is a blog that focuses on the ketogenic diet and ways to get into ketosis. The ketogenic diet is a diet that uses fat as the main source of energy. This is different from the traditional diet that uses carbs as the main energy source. Keto KFC is the most comprehensive and searchable blog about keto fast food options.

Road Trip

In our house, there had been a lot of discussion over whether or not we should try KFC. I told Matthew they had grilled chicken, but I wasn’t sure whether it was available all year or if it was just available sometimes, like the McRib! On our torturous 13-hour road journey to Tennessee over the Thanksgiving break, the ideal chance occurred to see whether the grilled chicken was available all year.

We limited our snacking since we understood how easy it is to get engrossed in driving while eating, so we stopped for larger meals. We decided to simply get off and choose after passing around ten different food signs with virtually all of the same fast food places on them, save for the odd, such as “Shoney’s.” And, you got it, we stopped by the KFC drive-thru!

We ordered an 8-piece grilled chicken bucket and big green beans to keep things simple. We were fortunate enough to come across some butter packages, which we used to boost the fat level of the green beans. The chicken was excellent, maybe even exceptional. It was a great on-the-go keto option that you could eat while driving! The chicken was well-seasoned, juicy, and we received two portions of each leg, thigh, breast, and wing.

The string beans had become mushy. They were more like to falling apart. Before we got our hands on them, they had clearly been simmering in some green bean soup bath all day and night. Overall, they were very tasty and went well with the chicken.
