On the premium end of the Android smartphone market, smartphones from POCO have been taking the spotlight over the past year or so. The company’s India operations have targeted the mid-range smartphone segment with the launch of the POCO F3 and the POCO F1 which were targeted towards the sub-Rs. 15,000 price bracket. Now, the company is back with the POCO F3 GT variant which is priced at Rs. 26,999 and is here to woo the mid-range smartphone customers.
The POCO F3 GT is the first smartphone from POCO (Pocophone India), a sub-brand of Xiaomi. The F3 is a flagship killer with a new feature called POCO Sense which brings the features of the POCO F1, POCO P1, POCO F1 Plus, and other POCO devices in a single smartphone. The POCO F3 sports an in-display fingerprint sensor, a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ FullVision AMOLED display, and as much as 8GB RAM.

In India, POCO has released their first gaming-focused smartphone, the POCO F3 GT. The phone includes a number of gaming-specific features to ensure that customers get the greatest possible gaming experience. It has a 6.67-inch FHD+ flexible 10-bit AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and HDR 10+ with 480Hz touch sampling rate, as well as a 120Hz display. It has a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 6nm Processor with 6GB RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage or 8GB RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage and is powered by a 6nm 3GHz Octa Core MediaTek Dimensity 1200 6nm Processor.
The smartphone contains an 8-layer graphite layer with ultra big vapor chambers, as well as aerospace-grade heat dissipation material with a built-in “white graphene” layer that covers 11540mm to help with gaming. This reduces the temperature of the battery by up to 2 degrees while charging it, lessening the impact on neighboring antennas. It boasts a triple Wi-Fi system, including two traditional and one Wi-Fi gaming antenna group, as well as three microphones.

Due to its mechanical structure, the POCO F3 GT has a dual-trigger design that allows you to play with four fingers. It also has genuine pressing feel. These magnetic triggers extend the life of the taps by up to 1.5 million taps in everyday use. It has Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio for an immersive gaming experience. It has a 64MP primary camera with Extra-Low Dispersion optical hybrid glass lens for sharper and crisper shots, an 8MP ultra-wide angle camera, and a 2MP macro camera in the camera section. Around the Triple Camera arrangement, there is a special-shaped Lightning flash as well as Tactical RGB Glow lights that work as Notification LEDs for calls, texts, and charging.
It has a 67W fast charging capability, which claims to charge the 5065 mAh battery to 50% in 15 minutes and 100% in 42 minutes. It comes in two colors: Gunmetal Silver and Predator Black.
The 6GB RAM with 128GB Storage model costs Rs 26,999, while the 8GB RAM with 128GB Storage option costs Rs 28,999. The 8GB RAM with 256GB storage variant costs Rs 30,999. The POCO F3 GT will be available for pre-order on Flipkart starting July 24th, and sales will begin on July 26th.
For the launch, there are several discounts —
- Starting at Rs. 25,999 for Week 1 (July 26th to August 2nd).
- Week 2 – August 2nd to August 9th, starting at Rs. 26,499, and after that, starting at Rs. 26,999, which is the phone’s original pricing.
