If you’re one of the many people who are considering going keto, or are already doing it, you may soon find that your favorite sweets aren’t as sweet as they used to be. We’re looking at you, Cool Whip and Jell-O. And since the ketogenic diet is a high protein diet, many fruits and vegetables are off-limits.
Going keto can be a scary proposition for anyone not familiar with the lifestyle. On the other side, for those already on the diet, it can seem like an impossible task. Well, it is possible; in fact, it is easier than you think! I have made some sugar-free candy that is keto-friendly (and low in carbs!) and it’s amazing how it can satisfy your sweet tooth.
Halloween is a month-long celebration of the season’s spookiest days, but it can also be a time dreaded by those who are watching their waistlines. While you can treat yourself to a few unhealthy treats, this year treat yourself to a healthy treat instead. With sugar-free candy, you can indulge without worrying about your waistline.
These delectable Halloween treats aren’t to be feared!
Oh, how I like Halloween, with all of its festivities and delectable goodies! Today I’m presenting a recipe for ChocZero keto candy-filled Halloween keto cookies. These cookies are so tasty that your family won’t believe they’re made with ketones!
With undertones of caramel, chocolate, and peanut butter, these low-carb cookies truly bring out the taste – all of my favorite things in one cookie! My sons had a great time creating these with me and begged for more when they were finished.
For the finest keto cookies for Halloween, follow these guidelines:
- Remember to gently press the dough onto the baking sheet using the back of a spoon when placing it on the baking sheet. These cookies are less smeared. As a result, when you flatten the cookie, the middle is completely cooked.
- Why are there three distinct types of sweeteners? The actual key to creating keto desserts without a bitter aftertaste or chilling effect is the ideal mixture of some of my favorite keto friendly sweeteners, which I accomplished by combining ChocZero syrup with erythritol and monk fruit.
- I topped the cookies with additional chocolate chips and chopped candies after they came out of the oven to make them even more monster-like. It’s entirely optional, but I believe it’s worthwhile!

1
Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Set aside a baking pan lined with baking paper.
2
In a mixing dish, combine the eggs, brown Swerve, and golden monk fruit sweetener. Using a hand mixer, beat the ingredients until it is creamy. Add the peanut butter and ChocZero caramel syrup after that.
3
Combine the coconut flour, almond flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate basin.
4
In a mixing dish, combine the wet and dry ingredients. Add the chopped ChocZero chocolate pumpkins, ChocZero chocolate chips, and chopped ChocZero ghosts to the batter after it’s thoroughly combined (or other keto friendly sweets). Keep a few pieces aside to decorate the cookies after they’ve been removed from the oven if required.
5
Use an ice cream scoop to scoop out the dough (approximately 1 generous spoonful) and put it on the prepared baking sheet. To ensure that the cookies bake evenly, flatten the cookie dough slightly using a spoon. In a preheated oven, bake for 20 minutes.
6
Take the oven rack out of the oven. Allow 5 minutes for the cookies to cool before taking them from the baking sheet with a few bits of candy and chocolate chips.
7
Keep your Halloween cookies in an airtight container. Have a blast!

With these keto cookies for Halloween, it’s all about the treats, not the tricks!
I surprised the boys by packing this cookie in their lunch the next day, and they were overjoyed! I believe making a batch for a Halloween party or sharing with a keto buddy would be fantastic.
Jenna, my Heep helper, had the following to say about this pastry:
They’re both soft and cooked to perfection! ChocZero chips and candies have a great flavor and add a little sweetness to the mix – they’re a lot of fun! If you’re like me and can’t stop eating them as soon as they come out of the oven, they’re golden brown and cooked through, and the candies are melt-in-your-mouth wonderful.
These chocolate pumpkin cookies are a must-try!
I have a confession to make: I’ve never tried out a low carb diet, and I’m not sure I’m ready to jump into the fray. (I’m really not that cool.) But I decided to give it a whirl this Halloween and make a batch of low carb sugar-free candies for my friends who are doing it … and for everyone else who can relate to this blog post..
