He was also a McDonald’s All-American, the 2023 Sports Illustrated All-America Player of the Year, and a Naismith Boys High School All-America first team member.

Why would Jalen Green be a first-round pick in any other draft? I’ve always admired his mindset, apart from his explosiveness and scoring skills. Ultra-confident. He considers himself to be the greatest player in the draft. When you speak with him, you will notice that he is not a politician. Real tough guy with a low-key hardness.
Teams like Green because he is a competitor, in addition to his physique, production, and natural athletic and basketball skill. Green also hopes to be the first selection in the draft, which currently belongs to the Detroit Pistons.
